Accessibility Statement

Our approach to making this website usable, what has been checked, and how to report a problem.

Last updated: 13 October 2026

Our approach

We want the Startup Journeys website to be usable by as many people as possible, and we aim to keep improving it. We have not carried out a formal accessibility audit, and we do not claim that the website meets any particular standard, including WCAG, or any accessibility law.

What has been checked

This is the testing that has actually been done:

  • Keyboard navigation was checked by hand on the Work, Contact, About, Our Approach and Insights pages. Focus moved in a logical order and a visible focus outline appeared on the controls tested.
  • All pages were measured for horizontal scrolling at phone (390px) and tablet (768px) widths. Only some pages were also reviewed visually at those widths.
  • Animations are written to switch off when a device asks for reduced motion. This was checked by simulation, not on a device with that setting turned on.

What has not been done

  • No comprehensive screen-reader testing.
  • No complete colour-contrast audit.
  • No independent accessibility assessment.
  • Keyboard testing has not covered every page.

Some content, such as diagrams, is illustrative, and we have not verified that every diagram has a suitable text alternative.

Report an accessibility problem

If you have difficulty using any part of the website, please email startupsjourneys@gmail.com. Tell us which page it is, what happened, and what device or assistive technology you were using. We will review the reports we receive.
