2. Project Approval
A project is considered confirmed only after:
- Project discussion is completed.
- Scope of work is finalized.
- Required advance payment is received.
- Necessary information and materials are provided by the client.
Project timelines begin only after receiving all required content and approvals.
3. Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to:
- Provide accurate information.
- Share all required content, images and documents.
- Respond to approval requests on time.
- Maintain ownership of submitted materials.
- Ensure that provided content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.
Any delay in approvals or content submission may affect project timelines.
4. Payments
All payments must be made according to the agreed quotation or invoice.
- Advance payments are required before project commencement.
- Remaining payments must be completed as per the agreed milestones.
- Delayed payments may result in temporary suspension of services.
- Prices are subject to applicable taxes where required.
5. Refund Policy
Due to the customized nature of digital services:
- Advance payments are generally non-refundable once work has started.
- Completed services are not eligible for refunds.
- Any refund request will be reviewed individually based on the project status and mutual agreement.
6. Revisions
Most projects include a limited number of revisions as mentioned in the project proposal.
Additional revisions or changes beyond the approved scope may require additional charges.
Major design or functionality changes requested after approval may be treated as a new project or change request.
7. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment:
- The client receives ownership of the final approved deliverables, unless otherwise agreed.
- Startups Journeys retains ownership of proprietary tools, frameworks, templates, reusable code, methodologies and internal development processes.
We may showcase completed work in our portfolio unless the client requests confidentiality in writing.
8. Third-Party Services
Some projects may require third-party services including:
- Domain Registration
- Hosting
- Google Services
- Meta Platforms
- Payment Gateways
- CRM Platforms
- Email Services
- Premium Plugins
- APIs
The client is responsible for maintaining active subscriptions, licenses or fees associated with third-party services unless explicitly included in our proposal.
9. Project Timelines
Estimated delivery timelines are based on:
- Timely client approvals
- Availability of project resources
- Scope complexity
- Required integrations
Unexpected delays caused by third-party platforms, force majeure or delayed client responses may extend delivery schedules.
10. Performance Marketing Disclaimer
While we use industry best practices and data-driven strategies, Startups Journeys does not guarantee specific business outcomes, including but not limited to:
- Lead volume
- Sales
- Revenue
- Return on Ad Spend (ROAS)
- Search engine rankings
- Social media growth
Campaign performance depends on multiple external factors such as market competition, audience behavior, budget, product quality and platform algorithms.
11. Website Development Disclaimer
After website delivery, the client is responsible for:
- Website content updates (unless included in a maintenance plan)
- Domain and hosting renewals
- Third-party subscription renewals
- Security credentials management
- Website backups (if not covered under a support agreement)
12. Limitation of Liability
Startups Journeys shall not be liable for:
- Business losses
- Revenue loss
- Data loss caused by third-party services
- Server downtime
- Platform policy changes
- Hacking incidents beyond our reasonable control
- Delays caused by external vendors or service providers
Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific service in question, except where prohibited by applicable law.
13. Confidentiality
We respect the confidentiality of our clients.
Any confidential business information shared during the project will be handled responsibly and will not be disclosed to third parties without permission, unless required by law.
14. Termination of Services
Either party may terminate a project by providing written notice.
If termination occurs:
- Work completed up to the termination date will remain payable.
- Pending deliverables will be released only after settlement of outstanding payments.
- Access to project assets may be suspended until dues are cleared.
15. Changes to Terms
Startups Journeys reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Updated versions become effective immediately upon publication on this website.
Users are encouraged to review this page periodically.
16. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.
Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
